Video Library

Below, you can explore my video library by subject. You have the option to subscribe to my channel on YouTube and receive an email when a new video is released. There, you can also engage through comments, ask questions, or share your own stories and perspectives. But you’re not obligated to do any of that. You can simply watch the videos right here, in whatever way works best for you. Keep in mind that not all videos have a written version and not all writing has a video version.

    About Intersections:

Intersections are important for identity because no one experiences the world through just one aspect of who they are. Our identities are made up of different characteristics, such as race, gender, sexuality, social class, religion, culture, and disability. These aspects overlap and interact with one another, shaping how we understand ourselves and how others perceive and treat us.

This concept is known as intersectionality, a term coined by legal scholar Kimberlé Crenshaw. It explains how different forms of privilege and discrimination can overlap, creating experiences that cannot be understood by looking at each identity separately.

Intersectionality helps us recognise that everyone's experiences are unique. It encourages us to look beyond single aspects of identity, understand inequalities more deeply, and build a more inclusive and empathetic society 🌍
